1980 until 2020 – 40 Years METAV | METAV is one of the leading international exhibitions for metalworking technologies. The trade fair will be taking place for the 21st time from 10 to 13 March 2020 at its traditional location in Düsseldorf (Germany). What began here in 1980 has evolved over the last 40 years to become an indispensable part of the technological trends that have affected virtually all aspects of production.

METAV in a compact format – 4 instead of 5 exhibition days. | For the first time, METAV will only be held from Tuesday to Friday and will no longer be held on Saturdays. The development in visitor numbers on Saturday had clearly shown that this last trade fair day was no longer in demand. The shorter the duration of the fair, the more efficient is the participation in the trade fair of the majority of its exhibitors.
