For particularly high cutting capacities in the diameter range of ø 10 up to 210 mm, HARTNER has developed the versatile interchangeable insert drilling system with internal cooling MULTIPLEX.

Multiplex-HOLDERS

Top-Performers.

The Multiplex system offers different HOLDERS – optionally with straight shank or morse taper (MT).

| Drilling depths 3xD, 5xD und 7xD.
| Large drilling depths up to 20xD.
| For stepped holes with countersink angles 90° and 180°.

On these holders, a variety of different INSERTS can be mounted depending on the field of application. In this way, the Multipex system is suitable for any drilling task.

PM HSS-E-Inserts

CORE of the MULTIPLEX-System.

The core of the MULTIPLEX-system consists of PM HSS-E inserts. These inserts are available in diameters up to ø 210 mm. Compared to previous HSCO-inserts the advantages are: Increased too life and/or less machining time by higher cutting speeds.

Modular Carbide Tipped Drills.

HARTNER‘s modular drilling system MULTIPLEX is also available with solid carbide inserts for conventional machining. These carbide inserts are suitable for machining of diameters from ø 10 up to 65 mm.

For drilling steel beams under instable conditions, HARTNER has designed special carbide inserts – MULTIPLEX HPC. The MULTIPLEX HPC system offers high-performance inserts for drilling diameters from ø 11 up to 40 mm.
