HARTNER

Modular Drilling Systems

Hartner Multiplex Halter
For particularly high machining performance, HARTNER has developed two modular drilling systems: Multiplex for universal applications and Multiplex HPC that is especially suitable for cutting steel beams.

MULTIPLEX

The allrounder for conventional machining.

HARTNERs modular drilling system Multiplex delivers reliable cutting results in the diameter range from ø 10 up to 65 mm.

The interchangeable drilling inserts are made of solid carbide. A self-developed cutting edge geometry enables optimal centering and better guidance of the tool in the hole. A high wear resistance of the coated inserts provide high tool lives particularly when cutting larger components.

The Multiplex system is also available in HSS-E quality or with HSS-E-PM inserts for diameters up to 210 mm.

MULTIPLEX

HPC

The interchangeable insert system for steel beams.

Especially for high-performance machining, the Multiplex HPC optimally completes the long-time well-established conventional Multiplex system.

The interchangeable inserts are particularly suitable for using on modern CNC lines. The point geometry of the NEW interchangeable insert ensures optimal centering characteristics and therefore compensates unstable machining conditions in the machining of steel beams.

The Multiplex HPC system is now available as a standard for a diameter range of ø11 – 40 mm. This system is suitable for drilling depths of up to 10xD.

The HOLDERS with cylindrical shank to DIN 6535-HE are available in 6 different lengths for drilling depths of 1.5xD, 3xD, 5xD, 7xD, 10xD and for pilot holes 1xD with countersinking of 90°.

The interchangeable solid carbide INSERTS with perfectly harmonised geometries and coatings are adjusted in line to the specific application.
